This handcrafted La Catrina Halo Crown was designed as an ornate frame around the woman wearing it. Antique-gold filigree rises into an elegant open halo silhouette, embellished with deep red crystals, sculptural floral details and Sacred Heart-inspired ornamentation. Clusters of rich red and pink roses soften the gold at the sides, creating a balance between romance, strength and drama.
The open center is intentional. Instead of hiding the hair or overwhelming the face, the crown creates a golden architectural frame around it. From a distance, you see the unmistakable halo silhouette. Come closer and the individual flowers, jewels and tiny ornamental elements begin to reveal themselves. Every Halo Crown is individually handcrafted in our Czech atelier. The ornamental elements, flowers and crystals are carefully selected, positioned and assembled by hand until the composition feels balanced from every angle. Small variations are a natural part of handmade work and mean that the crown created for you will have its own subtle individuality.
Our La Catrina designs are inspired by the extraordinary visual world of Día de los Muertos and interpreted through our own handcrafted aesthetic of flowers, ornament, color and transformation.
