This statement necklace was created as part of my Medusa collection — inspired by one of the most recognizable figures of Greek mythology, but designed for a woman who wants to interpret her in her own way.
The composition begins close to the neck with sculptural floral details and dark crystal accents, then falls down the décolletage into a long golden serpent pendant. The result is dramatic without becoming heavy visually: an elongated piece that draws the eye downward and gives even a simple black dress an unmistakably mythological character.
The snake is the heart of the design.
Across centuries of symbolism, serpents have been connected with transformation, rebirth, protection and power. Here, that symbolism becomes jewelry — something beautiful enough to wear, yet distinctive enough to define the entire look.
