This gold and black masquerade mask brings together intricate floral filigree, dark sparkling embellishments and the opulence of a Venetian-inspired masked ball. Richly layered flowers and leaves frame the eyes, rising into a sculptural centrepiece that gives the design its distinctive, regal silhouette.
The contrast is what gives this piece its character. Black faceted stones stand out against the warm gold-tone finish, while clear sparkling accents trace the eyes and illuminate the floral ornaments. Fine decorative loops soften the lower edge, balancing the elaborate raised details above the brow.
Designed and created in our atelier in the Czech Republic, the mask takes shape through the careful arrangement of individual ornaments. Each flower, leaf and stone contributes to the composition, creating depth and texture that reveal themselves as the light changes.
