This is the piece that takes the transformation beyond the face and turns the body itself into part of the jewelry. Handcrafted as an elaborate La Catrina Rib Cage Harness, layers of antique-gold filigree follow the shape of the chest and ribs, surrounded by Sacred Heart details, deep red stones, delicate chains and ornamental elements that move with the body.
From a distance, the silhouette immediately recalls the structure of a rib cage. Up close, however, the skeleton disappears into ornament. Golden filigree overlaps across the chest, red jewels catch the light between the details, and chains fall from the structure in long delicate lines. The result sits somewhere between jewelry, body armor and sculpture — dramatic enough to become the centerpiece of an entire look without needing to compete with an elaborate outfit underneath.
We designed the harness as one of the strongest elements of this La Catrina transformation. The matching floral crown with its black lace veil brings drama above the face, the earrings repeat the antique-gold and red details beside it, and our chain-connected Finger Claws carry the ornamentation from the wrist all the way to the fingertips. The harness becomes the bridge between them: the piece that takes all of that richness and spreads it across the body.
And you don’t have to wear the complete set for this piece to work. Style the harness alone over a simple black dress and let its silhouette become the focus. Combine it with the crown when you want the two largest statement pieces together. Add the Finger Claws and the golden chains begin to appear across both the body and hands. Every Rib Cage Harness is individually handcrafted in our Czech atelier. The numerous filigree components, Sacred Heart elements, stones and chains are positioned and assembled by hand to create a composition that feels rich and intricate without losing the recognizable rib-like structure. Because every piece passes through human hands rather than a mass-production line, subtle variations are a natural part of its character.
