These La Catrina Sacred Heart Earrings were created as part of our new Día de los Muertos collection, designed to accompany one of its most dramatic pieces — a crown filled with deep red roses, antique-gold ornamentation and a magnificent golden skull rising from the flowers.
The earrings carry that same visual language on a smaller, more intimate scale.

Her extraordinary beauty exists beside something much deeper: an awareness of mortality and, through it, an appreciation of life. Within the world of Día de los Muertos, remembrance can exist surrounded by flowers, color, beauty, food, music and the memories of people we continue to carry with us.
That contrast has always fascinated us.
And it became the soul of this collection.
The sacred-heart inspired details in these earrings were chosen because they bring another layer to that story. A heart naturally speaks of love — of devotion, memory and emotional connection. Set against antique gold, black ornamentation and rich red stones, it becomes part of a design where beauty and symbolism exist together.
The earrings have an elongated silhouette designed to frame the face beautifully without competing with elaborate La Catrina makeup. Golden filigree catches the light as you move, while red and dark jewel-like accents connect them visually with the flowers and decorative details of the matching crown.
They are striking enough to wear on their own.
But beside the crown, their purpose becomes even clearer.
The red roses above the head find their echo in the red stones beside the face. The antique gold of the skull continues through the earrings. Every pair of earrings is individually handcrafted in our Czech atelier. Decorative elements are selected, arranged and assembled by hand, and subtle variations are a natural part of handmade work.
